COMMENTS: Some light trade took place in the North today with
Mandatory reporting some deals as high as $300, Northern steers had a range
of $290 to $300. At this rate we are set to break the weekly weighted
average record highs that were broken again last week (*record highs set
last week, TX live $176.70($174.79); KS live $178.24(176.09), NE live
$186.21($183.37), dressed $290.08(289.83); IA live $186.10($183.37), dressed
$290.00($289.52) the numbers in parentheses are prior weekly weighted
average highs set in April of this year. Just a handful of business was
reported in Texas at $182. Having said all of that, more sales will have to
take place tomorrow and/or Thursday. Hold on to your hats, it could be
another wild ride this week!!!
